I checked the cows about 4:00 yesterday afternoon. There was one I thought getting ready to calf. So just before dark I went and checked again. She was just eating. As I drove away I though there will probably be 3 cows calf before she does. Well this morning there was 3 new calves and none of them were hers. These old cows will really fool you at times. Some will take a week to get around to it. Others go from no sign of calving to a calf on the ground in about 15 minutes.

That is so true. I like the cows that go from no sign to calf up and sucking in about 1/2 hour.
