I was just curious what eveybody runs during wheat harvest around the country..... We ran a JD 6600 for the past 15 years and just in the last week purchased/upgraded to a JD 9510 with bin extensions(a Cadillac compared to the 6600) but I am anxious to learn how to run the dang beast... It will be fun... WELL just list what you all cut with.. As long as its not a CASE!!! :cboy: :lol2:

back 25yrs or so we combined some wheat for 3 or 4yrs.an we ran a JD 95 combine.she sure would run good even though shes 48yrs old.she had a cab.but dang that joker was hot combining in 100 degree days.

wow...what somethin like that cost. i see some huge ones goin by the house. too big to haul so they drive em w an escort service...my little boy loves to wave at em!

that combine looks like she cost $80,000.an new combine cost over $200,000.an alot boys put 2000 an 3000hrs a year or more on their combines.

Not counting the McCormick Reaper which is still under the shelter, the last combine we had was a JD 4400. Sold it for 5 G's a few years ago.

We had gleaners but got a 6620 JD sidehill about eight years ago, it goes out along the hills alot nicer than the gleaners did.

my dad had run New Holland twin rotors for years. I currently have a TR 98. It seems to get the job done. :kid:
