Ryan,
You're very close. 3/4 Longhorn, 1/8 Hereford, 1/8 Beefmaster.
This is one of the calves that we've had on a leased pasture and have not fed them anything until this past weekend. We finally moved them back home to feed them through the winter.

it was a trick question.... but Ruster9 was on to me...

she's straight longhorn... D.O.B. 2/13/2006

she's a paternal half sister to the 2006 World Grand Champion Bull, Top Shelf. she's one of only a handful of females anywhere sired by the bull SD Big Bad Bob. she actually has pretty decent horn growth, her dam has real good horns (dam is cow in picture on Cutest Bovine thread that is laying down with tan and white bull calf).

here's the same picture, undoctored:

ya'll can see her horns a lil better in this pic:

Had 3 all red calves this year like Rustler9,s. One has longhorn horns, one has shorthorn horns and one is polled. Mommas are Longhorn Corriente crosses and daddy is a polled Shorthorn bull that is pure white. Paternal grandpa was a red bull.
