Her dam is 1/2 Longhorn, 1/4 Beefmaster and 1/4 Horned Hereford-her sire is purebred Longhorn. So she's 3/4 Longhorn, 1/8 Beefmaster, 1/8 Hereford. Of course she has horns coming out but she's got horns on all sides of her bloodlines. I just wanted to show how a cross bred Longhorn calf can come out. These heifers make really good brood cows to breed to whatever breed you choose. I have a bull calf that looks just like her, out of the same Longhorn bull and a Longhorn, Beefmaster, Beefalo cross cow. I'll try to get a pic of him. He's a real stout fellow. He'll wind up in the freezer next year.

Keep in mind that Beefmaster is approximately 1/4 Shorthorn and 1/4 Hereford. So she does have a tick of SH and probably a little extra Herf.
