Prices have held up real well considering the extra inventory the market is absorbing from the Dakotas, OK and TX.
Wonder what they would have been if so many had not been forced to sell? $2 calves maybe?

how much are you getting for 500 pound calves now. We get about 1.25 canadian $s here that might be around 1.40 american dollars

Just watched a sale on TV a couple days ago and 600 lb steer calves were at 1.29/lb, 725 lb steers were 1.295 and the 600 lb heifers were 1.17. They were nice calves, Age verified and vaccinated. Angus and Angus x Gelbveih. But they were the only calves on there.
