What vaccination program do you use?

I was just wondering what everyone else does...kinda broad, I know but oh well :tiphat:

My vet recomends the triangle-9 vaccination for good broad coverage.

Ivomec injectable wormer, Triangle 9, Barvac 7 at the start of weaning 30-45 days before sale. Should really use a modified live but haven't so far.

I have multiple protocols for different herds and times of the year, but for this example,

Pre-weaning and incoming farm-fresh backgrounding calves:

Heifers:

- Arsenal 4.1
- VibShield + L5
- Cavalry 9 [or Covexin Plus (Canadian equivalent)]
- Somubac
- Mannheimia Haemolytica Pasteurella Multocida Bacterin
- Noromectin Plus dewormer

Total Drug Cost: $4.30/head, with follow up Pasteurella/Somnus boosters = $4.81/head ($US)


Steers:

same as heifers, minus VibShield + L5

Total Drug Cost: $3.63/head, with follow up Pasteurella/Somnus boosters = $4.14/head ($US)
