What snakes are there in Canada?

Help Support CattleToday:

In response to a recent query, here's some pictures of snowsnakes.

These highway crawling snowsnakes were the kind we were most familiar with as kids...especially creepy when it's late at night and they would slither across the highway in the vehicle's headlights. ;-)

Here's another type of snowsnake; more commonly found winding their way up branches and laying in wait for kids in mitts and toques.

Take care.

ps. Couldn't resist adding this little rascal.

Oh no, Ryder, you've got your information a little mixed up... it's not snakes that are the dangerous species.

The species you have to watch out for are the spiders .

They're the nasty, scary ones.

whole heartedly agree I hate the little blighters, all those legs, I have gone cold just thinking of them. we get great big ones in the bath funny how they can't swim.
