I am a fairly big country fan. Also like Classic Rock and some modern rock. Absouletly distaste rap/hip hop/gangster music! Should be ban in this country! Manner of opinion I guess....

I wanted to list more on here but it will not allow me.....said too many options! This board is growing more restricted by the day! If there is other type of music you like..please list the one favorite you like the MOST. Thought this would be fun.... THANKS!

And I suppose you don't think ten choices is enough? Polls become meaningless when given too many options.

You also say "this board is growing more restricted by the day!" There are other boards for you to choose from! Personally, I would prefer that you do that. We all have the same three options:

1.Try to enjoy this one with the rules in place.

2.Go elsewhere.

3.Get your checkbook out and buy it from Macon and then you can make the rules.

I'm going to choose the first one. I'm pleased to have that choice, even though I may disagree with some things. Like I said, I wish you would do the second. If you ever do the third, you can count me out.......

Macon, please remove Texan's post. The post is as offensive as cursing itself. Texan's sure show his colors, eh? Thank you kindly.
Dun and TXshowmom, I love them old country songs too! Especially dem ol' Johnny Cash songs! The man in black can really strike a tune could he? He is still very popular even though he is dead. Recently there was an auction at his mansion and they raised $6 million (twice as much as they guessed!). I think it was a fundraiser or somethin'..... Anyhoo...the legend continues...

The ones I have bold and underline are directly at me! He posted a quote from my orginial (which got deleted somehow as) post then makes some direct remarks at me... Don't tell me there isn't anything wrong with THAT either?

gp, i think there's still a copy of a post you made once. it was so full of lewd, totally improper and inappropriate comments that it probably would have been deleted from a sex chat board. if these were my boards, that one comment alone would have gotten you kicked out. i think you're lucky Macon didn't see it and one of the moderators deleted it instead. my point is, i really don't think you're one to be deciding what is and what is not appropriate.

greenpasture78,

You and one other user cause 98% of the problems and bickering on these Boards. I'm sick of it. You own no cattle, know nothing about cattle and contribute little here. I would suggest you go elsewhere. You have two strikes against you and the next pitch is on its way!

M,
Two strikes?!? Where did I get the other two strikes?!? Did you just decided to jump to two strikes on your own? Since you imply the three strikes rules I should be at zero strikes. Lets refresh your memories (and this is to everyone), the inpromper remarks began with LA4, Texan, Txag, and among few others who didn't agree with my "anti-Bush" comments. I came here these boards as a friendly then BAM! got bash in the head.
So I gotten two strikes for posting a poll about favorite type of music??? You're being bias, M. The two strikes should be on Texan.......B. Goode has warmed him once or twice already... Might want to ask him/her about it.

I think it's more like griping with the umpire about balls and strikes. Never seen an ump change a call yet! And replays show them making the correct call 99% of the time!

Don't know all that much about the newer stuff. When Shania twain rolled around I pretty much tuned it out. I've sure that Clint Black, Travis Trit, Allen Jackson, Tug Mcgraws son, have probably done some decent stuff latley. But they sure aren't Elton Britt, George Jones, Hank Snow or Locklin, the original Jimmy Rodgers, and others from the years past. "Gator Butt" I can never remember his name, friends in low places guy, had a couple of decent tunes but the old timers had mostly good stuff with only an occasional clinker. Don't listen to radio anymore. When the TV is on it's usually the classical country station. Just and "olde pharts" opinion
