My brother spotted this next to a cemetery. It is about 10 feet off the ground. A giraffe feeder? Some kind of wood duck nest?

outdoor toilet for any ghosts that are floating around
I was thinking a deer stand, for one too many burritos..

Two tacos, one burrito, a bowl of refried beans,
Suddenly there's a rumbing deep down in my jeans
And the thunder rolls, and the thunder rolls.

It is a little high off the ground for most of your suggestions and he said it was poorly made. Don't think it would hold most of you up...
I was kind of wandering if it might be something to attract bee like M-5 said.

I'm not a bee keeper but they usually swarm in the spring and if they find a suitable home they could take up residence here. Notice the one hole at bottom front of pot.

Thanks M-5 for the clue and Hurleyjd for the link I told my brother when he showed me the pictures, I was belonged to a forum and someone on here would know what it was....

it s a bee trap like M-5 said and I bet there is a bee tree some place close by that he thinks will swarm soon, some people will put a little sugar water in them as an attractant.
