Same here I would suspect the chipper was older and didn't have emergency feed sttop bar on it. Terrible way to go and I make sure to tell my guys pay attention to not wear extremely loose clothing

A lot of voc chemicals are processed by the liver and alcohol actually will flush those out. A good example is methanol. It turns into a type of formaldehyde in the liver and the treatment is alcohol like whiskey or such.
