I've needed a 3/4" drive impact several times over the past few years. Never could make myself buy one, but the last time I looked I could get a good brand for $400.…….better ask how much these days.
There are times I will buy something just because I know I will use it eventually and I expect the price to increase. That's why I own two freezers.I've needed a 3/4" drive impact several times over the past few years. Never could make myself buy one, but the last time I looked I could get a good brand for $400.
Last month I found myself in a position needing one, on a Saturday afternoon. I was unable to beg, borrow, or steal. So, I went to the only place in town that had one on the shelf.
I expected it to be more than last time I looked, maybe 10-20%. The price was not on the box and I didn't see a price anywhere. I thought "doesn't matter, I've gotta have it, else I won't have a tractor to use".
I buy a lot of expensive stuff for my day business, but this was for me personally, farm stuff, so the auto parts counter guy didn't say "are you sure?"
I got the statement in the mail last week and it was a shade over $900!
I felt really stupid and had to put on my best stupid face for my Darlin when she asked about it.
Does anyone need a "like new" Ingersoll Rand 3/4" drive pneumatic impact? Only used once on a Sunday.

You must have bought the cheaper version...I've needed a 3/4" drive impact several times over the past few years. Never could make myself buy one, but the last time I looked I could get a good brand for $400.

that's highway robbery! I bought my Makita 3/4" drive cordless for about 300.. it isn't quite what a pneumatic is, but it does OK.. you can get a long anvil pneumatic 1" gun for less. (they're nice for rims and tires!)I've needed a 3/4" drive impact several times over the past few years. Never could make myself buy one, but the last time I looked I could get a good brand for $400.

Glad l quit stock picking and went long term with financalissues.org and yes it is only 132.00 $ a year and yes fighting the darkness as well. Have a bleesed day as you follow GOD's way.Yeah, I tried to trade stocks for about 10 years…without a whole lot of luck. Was a way better mutual fund picker than a stock picker.
Up $900….what's the percentage on that? I was up $1700 yesterday when I was expecting to be down about $8000.
Well, if you ran an outfit with a tool crib it would be handy. It lets you geolocate the tool, you can set a perimeter that if the tool leaves you get notified. It also allows you to use the app to set the torque and rpm.what is that one-key thing? sounds gimmicky to me
That'll do it…lolI participated in a political discussion on the internet.
An app that's needed to set torque and RPM.. definite gimmick.. Let me pull out my phone so I can set the torque on this thingWell, if you ran an outfit with a tool crib it would be handy. I think it needs a wifi network. An app that's needed to set torque and RPM.. definite gimmick.. Let me pull out my phone so I can set the torque on this thing
the geolocation could be handy, though wonder how it works.. cell service? bluetooth to your phone?
I can definitely see it being handy as a shop owned tool, keep some of the more questionably skilled grease monkeys from breaking too many bolts and causing more problems. Geared toward an industrial maintenance or repair shop, not a whole lot of use for a home shop guy.The one key is nice when working around allot of people you don't know, such as a construction site. You can shut the tool down with your phone or find out who took it. Useless in a shop or at the house though.
Now if the Onekey would force the tool holder to actually do some work..The one key is nice when working around allot of people you don't know, such as a construction site. You can shut the tool down with your phone or find out who took it. Useless in a shop or at the house though.
