Was out on the road the other day, and went to look at some Shorthorns. Here's a heifer and bull for your perusal....

It's a big fence, big cow, and the bull calf is only 5 months old

Like the nice red roan Shorthorns. boy they cross well with Brahmans and South Devons.

they both are goodlooking calves.an both are real growthy.an that is a big cow.

I particularly like the heifer- she is by a bull I've posted on here before. His calves all seem to come from the same 'cookie cutter' mould- you can sure pick 'em.

Not a big fan of the bull, but I am quite drawn to the heifer. I think she has some real potential.

the bull is decent. he'd make a better steer than bull. but i like the heifer. i'd like to see just a touch more bone under her. but she is flashy.
