What’s your Quarantine Protocol

What's yalls Quarantine protocol
When receiving new livestock into the farm how long do you keep them separate. Do you treat animals off a farm any different than animals from a sale barn or do you use same protocol regardless of where animal comes from. Everyone does it different I know of people who don't quarantine at all every couple weeks you'll drive by and see new salebarn stickers on cows mixed in with the herd. I just like to hear how others do it

I will not bring a stockyard animal on the farm. Risk is high of bringing in BVD, IBR, Etc.

When I purchase, I hold them a week during which time I vaccinate. I will not use MLV fetal protection vaccine on pregnant cattle unless I know their history.
