I bought cattle from Colorado and moved them to mo. they calved within six to 8 weeks and have continually lost muscle. they act alert and fine, the calves at 6.5 months look great and are still on the cow. they are on a continual hay / a little grass, whats left / sweet lick tank. they have a mineral also avail. at all times. they have fresh well water and a pond to drink. my other cattle on the same diet are doing great. i know environment change is hard to adjust to, but how long usually? it has been 10 months. thanks for any help you may offer.

To adjust to fescue if they ever do, takes about 2 years.

You just have cows and calves, build fence, feed, vaccinate, worm, doctor and etc etc etc
but not experienced :lol2:
