Weight gain/loss in first two weeks?

What would you all expect out of a group of replacement heifers. Mostly registered Angus, SimAngus, Simmental heifers. Seen no creep, did see round bale feeder before weaning. 1 round of precondition shots.

Weaned/weighed under 3 hours. Outside dirt lot with some hard spots of lime. Wind break. Went from 75 to 40 and 6.2 inches of rain for 3 days.

Fed 5#/hd/day Stress Care 5 + Stress tub and good grassy round baled hay. Didn't get them eating 5# for 3 days.

15 head are mine, 11 are a buddies. Co mingled right away at weaning.

Columns are not perfect even there but I'm sure you all get the drift. I was shocked to say the least on how well they are doing.

When were they born, and how did you wean?

Born 2/27-4/17 on my group (top ones), averaged 204 days old.

Buddies group (bottom) born 3/5-5/26

They were pulled off cow and put in the lot, shots 3-4 weeks before weaning. Buddies were fence line weaned I guess you could call it. Cows were in adjacent lot. My calves momma's were 10-12 miles away.

I think that Stress Care 5 is the same thing that they use to sell as Pre-con 5. I never weighed them as individuals but had similar results as a group.
