I have for years had my weigh bars under my squeeze chute. I recently put them in the runway so I could weigh them and not have to run them through the chute. I need some tips for building a platform for holding the weigh bars. I was doing fine with my platform I had been using to weigh calves. I ran my young bull in and all 1675# of him broke my set up. any suggestions. I think I am going to get a metal plate 1/4" and bolt the bars to it. any other suggestions.
