Just wondering what is the cost of setting up a website these days?

I'm putting up with some ads and running a free version of Wix.They also have a paid version which I'll eventually go to. They offer all the tools to build yourself a very nice site at no charge.

I don;t know costs but a couple of people I know for their business have used others but they've ended up at godaddy and are really pleased

Its not for me. Its for a organization I am a member of. We have a existing website which works pretty good but are looking at something a little more user friendly. The folks we are talking to about the new site seems a little expensive to me but seem to offer a better service.

That's who we have now dun, and I think they do a decent job. They have pretty reasonable rates seems to me.
