That was cute...we just sold our first set of calves and it hasn't been the same around here either!!

Last year was the first time that we hauled the calves out when my wife was here. She just kept saying, "We'll have babys in a couple of months, we'll have babys in a couple of months"
She's already starting to miss this years batch and they won't be shipped for another 3 weeks

I kinda get attached to ours as well.................and then the check comes and it makes it all better.

There are some calves that I miss way less than others. Did our castrating and de-horning a couple of weeks ago. Had trouble with a couple of steers in the chute, won't miss those ones too much.
