I have my steer calves sold and delivery is this weekend. I am not ready to bring home the heifers. what will happen if I leave the heifers on the calves? I asked a few around here, the only thing I heard besides a bunch of "i don't know"s is the neighbor lady thought there could be calf stealing. Is that possible with 6 month old calves? anyone with experience?

You mean leave the heifers on the "COWS"?

Nothing. I wouldn't think twice about it.

Nothing should happen. They'll just keep drinking momma's milk and eating whatever else they're eating.

The momma cows don't usually start stealing calves this late in the game.
