How old must the claf be, before they are weaned from their mother? How long must they be weaned until they are allowed to be back in the pasture with their mother?

People are weaning calves from anywhere between 3 mo. to 8 & 9 mo.
Earlier weaned normally need supplemental feed to keep them from being stunted. They should have free choice hay, loose minerals, and grass.
They should be seperated from their mother for several months.
