My husband and I recently had the pleasure of examining a Watusi bull and cow that were for sale. As I have never seen or even heard of Watusi cattle before of course I am curious. Especially since I think my husband intends to purchase them.I have talked with our local ranchers and they advise us not to get involved with them unless we just want to spend money without making any, they say there is no market for them and we will be stuck with them is there a market?

I would expect that you can take them to the sale barn when/if you get tired of them. But I would have to agree with your neighbors that you're not likely to make any money off them. Ask the rancher you're buying from about the market. He should know more about the demand for Watusi than commercial cattlemen. Good luck...
