water trough tip

I thought some of you would be interested in this. I took a float valve from an old pressure washer supply tank and rigged it on my trough. The part is super cheap, so if the cows mess it up no big deal. Simple bul head fitting from tractor supply,couple pipe fittings, and the valve and your done. Sorry, I never knew they were that cheap, I never looked into them much and started tinkering today. Thought I had stumbled on a decent idea, but I guess I should join the 21st century soon. Haha

Kind of a neat idea, I'll be looking if I see one to be thrown out. The first float I ever saw rigged up was a toilet float Dad tied on. I haven't done it myself, but it's fun to think about, from back in 1976.
