Just some food for thought because I’m bored.
Last year we had 4 herds in 4 different locations.
One herd had a bad out break of warts and it was the only herd that was moved that year, except for the one that was moved from that location after being there 3 years and they had no warts. So I ruled out that location as being the cause of the wart out break.
The location were the herd with the warts came from, they were only there 18 months, was previously used to raise Buffalo, but sat vacant for almost a year before we put cattle on it.
Do you think it is possible that this herd contracted the warts from the land and/or facilities after about a year?
