Wart?

Can anyone tell me if this is a wart? I have a heifer and bull with this growth, both yearlings.

Going by the appearance and the age of the animals I would say it is highly likely.

Not a manure knot. It's attached at the top and is a growth protrusion. Strange thing to me is it happened on 2 yearlings 12-15mos old, and is in the same place but opposite front legs. I'm thinking it's a particular type of wart but wasn't sure. From my research there seems to be 6 types and they appear just about anywhere but my logic makes me think certain types grow on certain places on their body. Could be wrong but the logic worked for me. That's the only growth I've found on the 2. I might try spraying it with peroxide and see if that does anything. Doesn't seem to be a problem as it hasn't make them lame, no limping or anything. Hasn't changed their habits, still eating normal and so on. I'll try and get a better photo tonight after work.

It looks very much like a wart or a type of fungus growth.
