HS, I think the concern is Pakistan. Nuts are close to the capital and if the capital falls that would mean a nuclear country will be controlled by al-Qaeda and I don't think even Pelosi will stand for this. JMO (edit - but she never ceases to amaze me)

Back to the topic, many years ago I was visting my brother who lived just outside of Sacramento at the time. His back yard butted right up against the outer fence of Mather AFB. Anyway, they were having an airshow at the base which included the Thunderbirds. Took a case of beer up on the roof and watched the show.

Also, a friend of mine happened to be in Omaha on 9/11/01. Says he saw Air Force One and a fighter escort take off from Ofutt that afternoon.

it seems they are warming up for something here in west texas too, i've noticed a few huge 4 prop planes (b52's? i dunno) flying low around here the last few days.
