The more I read the more I thike you Pro Baby Busher have to be the Red-neckish, dumbish people in the world..... I use to love The Great state of Texas not so much any more,I wish the Tennessee that went there had stayed at home...Why take it away from Mexico...Bush Daddy gave USA citianship to 3.5 Million Mexicans...Bush Baby had planed on doing the same with about 3.2 millon more.....might as well open the boarders to all of south and centeral america... At this rate the U.S.A. will be a lation nation by 2060......................You do the math.....No lies Just fact..........So hope all you are cought up on your Spanish........

I normally don't correct people's spelling on discussion boards because much of the time it can be blamed on typos but I can't leave it alone this time. There is often a stereotype of dumb, illiterate ranchers and it's posts like Alf's that perpetuate that stereotype!!!!

I think that the whole idea behind legalizing mexican workers is that they are here and we can't find and send the all back so why not make the legal and make them pay taxes on the benefits that the get by living in this country. Damned if you do, damned if you don't idea.

The green card workers are paying income taxes but they don't get the benefits that American citizen workers get. Easy and clean money for the Feds. I've got about 100 of them in my plant. The loophole in the law gets better. A lot of illegals get a bogus social security number to start working with. When the Feds check the SS# out and find it is not valid, the immigrants give another number and get more time while the Feds check that number. It's an endless cycle. In the end, the Feds got income tax from the employee and the employer, and there isn't even a citizen to apply the benefits towards. They never qualify for social security, welfare, unemployment, medicaid, etc, because they don't even exist. It's almost like laundered money for the Federal Reserve to stockpile. Likewise, the corporate level is not an auditor of SS cards or numbers and cannot be held liable for false documentation. I don't like other nationalities becoming so populated in our country, but I will say we have many farm labor jobs down here that noone else will even think of doing. They'll sit on their ass and watch Oprah while getting welfare checks. The immigrants work their tails off for minmum wage, and are happy about it. Without them, there will be some big problems. Harvesting and manufacturing will lose a cheap source of labor. Ag related corporate profits will plunge and drive stock market down. Would any of you guys pick a semi load of grapefruit from the trees for $300? It's done with a sack on your back and a ladder.

One of the greatest pleasures in the world right now, is knowing that even with all of your vocal comment on our president, come November, one of the logical thinkers on this cattle board is going to cancel your vote out by chosing what's best for this country, which is Bush. You can complain and moan all you want, but essentially that's what it comes down to.
