Visitors?

The one we had liked my girls and wife. I never had a problem. It didn't like my dad. Use to spit on him a lot. Since he was the primary care giver, it's no longer around.

This is my only experience.

We had one to help keep dogs, coyotes, etc. away from the cattle. He was a friendly fella' (ol' Tony) to humans. One of the most entertaining things ever witnessed was when he and a bull accidentally got penned in a small corral holding pen together and fought - bellering, grunting, spitting, snorting, charging, kicking - for about 30 minutes. He liked to torture the ponies until one day the little gray stallion zeroed in on him and kicked his front lower teeth out!

They use to be big $ items in the 80's, kinda like Emus and other fads. Lots were raised in the northwest because of the climate, they get heat stroke pretty easy. They were and are used as pack animals, also thier "wool". Now, 20 some years later, over bred and no demand you can't give thm away out here.

My opinion,
Alan
