Will anyone here be going to the Va. Beef Expo @ Rockingham fair grounds in Harrisonburg this weekend?

Well, going by the forecast for tomorrow (Sat.) that will leave only Sunday for decent weather anyhow. I had figured tomorrow for getting afew things done around here then going to the Expo on Sunday. Oh well, such is life.

Don't waste your time. All the vendors packed up today and left during the monsoons. If you're planning to go next year, make sure it's on Friday.

Just got home from Expo a couple hours ago. Had a little bit of every thing this weekend, nice and warm on Friday, poured rain with a little bit of hail on Saturday, and cold fingers this morning washing calves.

Well, perhaps I'll get there next year.

Friday I had to work, Saturday after the deluge of rain temporarily subsided (no complaints, we need rain) we spent about 2 hours getting our driveway out of the road and back where it belonged before the rains came again. And Sunday was spent trying to catch up on a few things.

I've been wanting to get there for the last couple of years. It's not a far drive, only about an hour, if that.
