Virgina Governor uses Executive Powers

Its starting, Virginia's Governor today used his Executive Order powers to keep guns out of dangerous hands.
Part of it says (That only licensed firearms dealers engage in the business of selling firearms.) Not sure what all this means but he tried to get gun legislation passed this spring and it failed so now he is trying it from another angle.

From what I heard you can't sell a gun to a friend cause he can report you and collect a reward. I can't believe you and Kenny elected this fool.

I wonder if the reward is going to be higher than what you paid for the gun. Because I'm sure the gun will be confiscated and destroyed. What's the best action to take against this governor?
Hopefully the NRA will come up with something.

Kenny he won't own up to voting for McAuliffe. He did own up to voting for obama the first round though.

I did not vote for our current governor thats for sure. I did vote for O the first round not the 2nd so I guess its my fault.

I would think either the house of delegates or state senate would do something. If not I am sure the NRA will battle it in court. If neither of those works it will be up to the people of the state to march on the capital. Things like this have to be defeated allowing them to stand is bowing down to the powers that be and it won't be long they will have them all.

I am not well versed on the shootings but if not mistaken the guns used in all the shootings were purchased through ffl dealers.

I'll bet this is more about taxes than gun control. He wants all guns sold through a dealer so he can (1) get more people to become dealers so the state collects more license fees (2) gets to charge sales tax on all gun transactions.

This guy is an Obama phile....he is not even a Virginian.....he was a wealthy democratic fund raiser who lived in the occupied territory known as NOVA....
campaigned that he was a gun owner....he bought one so that he could say that....

he has been good on trade and bringing business to Virginia and has a good environmental record but he is a socialist....the things he is good at are all achieved by the use of taxpayer dollars.
