We need more young people (or people in general) telling their stories about agriculture. The consumer is really curious. Many of them have never even seen a cow or ranch before. And we can't let PETA and HSUS do the story telling for us. Lots of us a video camera at home, and a whiz kid as a son or daughter or neighbor kid.

I like the video a lot, thanks for posting. I'd love to do something like that-I talk about my cows to anyone who will listen. People are really underinformed about ag, and a lot of the time when they do hear something, they end up hearing bad things. Chrisy-I say it like the girl in the video, but my dad says it like you :p that's a cool site too, with the words.

Good video...I found it strange the way she pronounced Hereford....this is how I would say Hereford.http://www.howjsay.com/index.php?word=hereford
place your mouse over the word and it should play it. unfortunatly it's a mans voice.
the female voice in this one sounds just like mine.

my neighbor lady was from england her husband and she met while in the army..she liked hereford, she would say i luv the hufudshire :p

I had to make a slight change in the video, but the new one is up. Thanks for the comments.

Good Video!
The HSUS and PETA appeal strongly to young women. They appeal to the inbred caution of women r.e. what they feed their babies. They are resistant to what they hear from "old white men" because they are still tired of hearing their fathers. We need women of child bearing age to speak up for beef, and the vid is a good example. It is just common sense and good nutrition, but girls off the farm don't seem to hear the message from a source they can trust.
