A farmer and his brand new bride were riding home from the chapel in a wagon pulled by a team of horses, when the older horse stumbled.

The farmer said, "That's once."

A little further along, the poor old horse stumbled again.

The farmer said, "That's twice."

After a little, while the poor old horse stumbled again.

The farmer didn't say anything, but reached under the seat, pulled out a shotgun and shot the horse.

His brand new bride yelled, telling him, "That was an awful thing to do."

The farmer said, "That's once."

la4angus...Things are interesting here..We had a 24hr windstorm here on Friday .It sure generated a lot of work for the local roofers.One roofer had 100 calls on Friday alone for repairs.Neighbours lost a hayshed.They chained the other one down with 4 tractors to keep it from leaving.
Other neighbours lost a few grain bins, one lost a quonset .
Never hurt anything in the yard here except a little fence.

Bad news is its raining tonite..some people will have some damage.

Alot of the machine sheds up here look like that. The actual name for them is 'curvet' and most of them around here are built by 'Behlen Industries'. They used to sell them door to door.

Quonset huts are common in Michigan. Used for storage as well as cattle/livestock.

There is a house made in the same fashion a few miles from me. They have 2--one for the house and one for the garage/shop.

:shock: :shock: And I thought the wind blew bad here, remind me never to move to NW Manitoba! I hope nobody was hurt, and hopefully people had a little time to recover from the wind before the rain hit.
