No spice this year. This calf is a full sib to last years(posted above) The world of genetics and color patterns never cease to amaze.

Bull is reg Red Angus. My ugly little cow is a mixed up mutt of Angus, Simmental, and Shorthorn. She is 5 years old and this is her 4th calf.

Ont of 55 calves right now 5 are Charolais crosses and 6 are reds. There is only one Char cow, 5 red cows, and 5 whiteface cows. The rest of the cows are black or BWF. I have a black cow with a red calf. 2 red cows with a black calves. Black cow with a nearly white char cross calf. Buying bred cows at the sale it is always a guess what the calf will be. But no straight Hereford or Shorthorn calves this year.
