I am starting a planning to vacinate my cows and calves with Triangle 9 Type II BVD. My question is Black Leg covered with this vacination or do I need to purchase a separate vaccine?

Never seen a blackleg vaccine included in the respi vaccine. One is viral, the other is bacterial.

Triangle 9 Type II does NOT include a blackleg vaccine. You will need to but a seperate vaccine.

From what I can tell, Triangle 9 is not a blackleg vaccine. It protects against several types of disease but you will need another shot to cover for blackleg. You should talk to someone in your home area (rancher, vet, county agent, etc) to find out exactly what you should be protecting your cattle from in your particular area. Vaccine programs vary from one area to another. There is no "one size fits all" answer.

Triangle 9 is a good multi-purpose vaccine ( respiratory,lepto,etc.) but it does not include blackleg,you have to give that in a separate injection.
