Vaccinated 9 days ago. Noticed these lumps. I vaccinated on both sides of the neck since I had multiple vaccines. I THINK the pasteurella vaccine is what caused this. Anything I need to do? Just keep an eye?
That's what I wanted to hear!!Keep calm and vax on.

Ultrabac 8, pyramid 5, and Colorado serum pasteurella. It was either the pyramid 5 or pasteurella.Which brands of vaccines did you use? Some of the 5cc dose Clostridium vaccines can cause swelling.
Yea someone asked me the same about the needles. Needles were straight out of the box, disposable.34 minutes ago
I had same reaction on almost all of my cows after vaccinating with "Vision 8 w/ Spur" vaccine. The company (Merck) sent out a vet and they never did figure out what caused it. Tried to blame it on dirty needles. I change needles often and keep them clean. 13 months later you can still see the lumps on about half of my cows. They've gone down to smaller size, but still there.
Probably the Ultrabac 8. It's a 5cc dose right? They tend to get ouchy. I use vision 7 somnus or Alpha 7somnus. Both are 2cc doses and cover the same things as Ultrabac 8.Ultrabac 8, pyramid 5, and Colorado serum pasteurella. It was either the pyramid 5 or pasteurella.
I know it wasn't ultrabac this time just cause the placement of the vaccines (ultrabac was placed on opposite of neck) but I'll keep that in mindProbably the Ultrabac 8. It's a 5cc dose right?
