uploading pictures

I just got a new camera and I can't upload any pictures because the file size is to big. Is there anything that I can do?

Get a photo editing program where you can crop and resize photos. Paint.net is one that I use for cropping, and there is a good one for simply resizing called Easy Thumbnails

With this one you can just enter the size you want the photo/s to be made into and it will do them either singly or in batches.

They are both free programs.

I think photobucket has a resizing option for stuff that you upload. Seems like I've heard that, never have used it myself

That's right, photobucket will do the same automatic resizing that randi's talking about and is free also.
