They will be with my angus bull!I like them, especially if bred to a black bull. They could make you some money at this point in the cattle cycle.
Yep. I agree! @MurraysMutts , you need a good registered Brangus bull. I will trade you one with Salacoa Valley bloodlines, for Bessie!!Good looking mommas!
If you want their babies to have a little ear I'd maybe lean towards a Brangus. They should have some nice baldie babies.
A little too fat for my taste but that just means they're pretty. I'd want them to lose some weight before calving and then be gaining before breeding season.
These gals ain't bred!! They are raising calves. They should breed right up huh?A little too fat for my taste but that just means they're pretty. I'd want them to lose some weight before calving and then be gaining before breeding season.
Okay... so a devil's advocate just bit me in the ear. If they ain't bred then have they been culled because they didn't breed? These gals ain't bred!! They are raising calves. They should breed right up huh?
As an aside. Can u believe this????
These cows don't know me from Adam!
The KIND!

They sold some younger short breds as well. If I understood correctly, they were clearing out a pasture and had no place to go with them. I bid on the short breds as well. I should've bought em too!!Okay... so a devil's advocate just bit me in the ear. If they ain't bred then have they been culled because they didn't breed?
I think they have calves by their side dont they.Okay... so a devil's advocate just bit me in the ear. If they ain't bred then have they been culled because they didn't breed?
They do. Most are 150 to maybe.... 200lbsI think they have calves by their side dont they.
Do you always look for a negative? You remind me of my ex-husband... half empty instead of half full, partial sun means it might rain... UGH. Besides, murray said they had calves on them....Okay... so a devil's advocate just bit me in the ear. If they ain't bred then have they been culled because they didn't breed?
I meant it more as a compliment...... LOL.... Easy keepers on grass/pasture/hay... LOTS OF MEAT... YES!!!!!!!Don't "body shame" my cows!!!
LOL - actually, I may have some showing some fat, but mostly they are BCS of 5.5 - 6.5. What you see is a lot of meat. That's what I breed for. Easy keeping cows on grass and hay. When you take those genetics and actually want to feed a steer out, they sure do grow well on whole shell corn balanced with some protein.
I see it as being realistic... If the cows have big calves on them and they aren't carrying a calf then it's something to consider.Do you always look for a negative?
