Last August I ask about the results of crossing my Braford heifer with a neighbors Charbray bull. Concensus was generally: don't do it. One day in September I found the bull in my east pasture and needless to say I no longer had a choice in the matter. 2 days ago the results of that union became tangible. Strange color! These two are the only non black or black baldy animals I have. Sure are easy to spot in the pasture. She is heathly, active and welcome to stay for a while. Next time around though I will be sure to go with the brangus bull I've been using on the rest of the girls. Thanks to all those with wise and knowing comments in the past.
