During the raining season,we have a Bull and two 18 month male calves,with a simptoms of back siff leg and incoordination,we trated with oxitetracycline,the bull looks better,but one calve laying down with all the legs siff can not walk,the other one is OK with out treatment. Think in anaplasmosis?? Apreciate comments

Anaplasmosis symptoms are general weakness without stiffness, loss of appetite, and very yellow skin coloring. I don't know what you have, but doesn't sound like anaplas.

could be something related to bovine ephermal fever

I stand to be corrected, but isn't one diagnostic symptom of anaplasmosis "cherry red blood"? This would be easy to determine to pursue further of go in some other direction.

Actually , I think the blood in anaplasmosis would look "like tea"... we had a case of it and I remember the Vet saying that was a tell tale sign... this is from memory though...

Sounds like bovine ephermal fever to me too (also called 3-Day Sickness, or 3-Day Fever). I've experienced it this year. Lost the first, saved the second. Both had gone down but I had the second injected with calcium after researching it on the Internet. Apparently, cattle usually survive it untreated but calcium should be injected should they go down.
