Death rates in the US has not increased any more than it has from ALL causes.
According to the United Nations, this is the death rate per 1000 people:
2013 - 8.159
2014 - 8.264
2016 - 8.475
2018 - 8.685
2019 - 8.782
2020 - 8.880
Yes, there were more total deaths in the US in 2020 over 2019, but no more than the increase each year leading up to the infamous Covid 2020. Each year since 2013 there was an increase of about 0.10. (there was less than the average for 2019 to 2020) Research it yourself:
