Ultrasound

On April 16 we did an ultrasound on 116 steers. Weight was from 1,000 to 1260 lbs.
It took approx 4 hrs.
As they still had most of their winter coat it was necessary to clip the hair off to get a proper reading.
The hide was then coated with all natural cooking oil and the scanner was applied.
This was done over the rib eye of the last two ribs.

We got a verbal that around 80 % passed the buyers preset specifications in the computer.
Computer printout on each animal should be here in a few days.

Boss said it was worth the money and will be doing more if an agreed sale price is reached.
