ultrasound preg test

Help Support CattleToday:

I understand they're quite expensive, but you have probably already taken that into consideration. I think I would thoroughly investigate availability of training and support by the manufacturer or seller after purchase. I would think the skill needed to operate an ultrasound and correctly interpret the results would take time and special training to develop.

: I would like to purchase an ultrasound to do my own preg testing. Any advice would be appreciated.
From what I've been told and that was several years ago, the equipment to do ultrasound carcass testing was about $35,000. I don't know if it is the same type of equipment used in pregnancy testing. I would imagine there would be lots of info available at universities with a good ag program. TSR
