Ugly gets Uglier.

I don't have anything that old. Besides, if you can't afford to buy a newer used Vehicle you can't afford a new one. I'm sure that there will be a lot of new cars now at the social security office... Kinda wish I still had that '86 F150 now. My Silverado gets 19 MPG. Think I qualify? I'd just turn around and get another truck so that doesn't help. Do you have to buy a disposable car?

Quoted from MSN this afternoon:

"The unemployment insurance system before the recession was as vulnerable as New Orleans was before Katrina," said Representative Jim McDermott, Democrat of Washington, who is chairman of a House panel with authority over the program.

"Now the number of unemployed Americans has doubled since 2007 to 15 million and the program is more than tripling in size. About 9.5 million people are collecting benefits, up from about 2.5 million two years ago. Spending is expected to reach nearly $100 billion this year, about triple what it was two years ago. "

But everybody gets a new car if they can find an older one to trade in. Wonder if this like buying a house?? No qualifying, nothing down and no payments. :lol2: :lol2: :lol2:
