No, because then you would have to deal with a "customer service" person that you can't understand because they don't speak english and vice versa and you would get so mad after being on hold for the fifth time that you would quit and hang up.

I don't know about satellite, but with cable I was always told yes, something about fiber optic cables being able to transmit images both ways...I don't understand the logistics of it or know if it's really true.

Why would they want to and how many screens would they have to have, to look at the entire population of cable?

If the tv was set up with a camera and transmitter, the answer is yes.
