I have a heifer with a twin brother, she is about 21 months old I noticed the bull tailing her today she was standing with her tail sticking out like she had been bred. I know hefiers with brothers most likley will not bred but do they come in heat and will a bull tag them.

I think that a small percentage (maybe 10%) will breed. She may one of them that will. You might as well see if she does, if she does she should be fine to carry the calf and be a productive cow. Good luck.

Or spend a little $$ with UC-Davis for a blood test to be sure right now. If she turns out to be a freemartin IMHO it makes no sense to continue to put groceries in her. Convert her to cash and buy a replacement (or spend it on wine-women-song. )

I think I'll wait acouple months when shes market size and have her preg checked. I'm a little slow finishing them, I only feed grass & hay. Thanks for the comments!!!
