Compared to last week: Steer and heifer calves steady to 1.00 higher.
Feeder cattle steady to 1.00 lower. Weigh-ups mostly average with some full
calves. Demand good with good attendance of buyers. More weaned calves are
appearing at sales. Receipts included 52 percent steers, 39 percent heifers, 9
percent bulls, with 21 percent over 600 lbs. A total of 378 cows and bulls sold
44 percent going to packers. Slaughter cows and bulls sold steady.
