steers steady to 1.00 higher. Heifer calves 2.00-3.00 higher. Feeder
heifers steady to 2.00 higher. Very good demand on all classes. Weigh-ups
mostly average to a few full. Flesh condition average to a few fleshy calves.
Good attendance of buyers. Receipts included 43 percent steers, 39 percent
heifers, 16 percent bulls with 24 percent of feeder cattle over 600 lbs.
Slaughter cows 2.00-3.00 lower. Slaughter bulls 1.00 lower. A total of
403 cows and bulls sold with 43 percent going to packers.
