I have and old Farmhand 900B. It isn't the fastest grinder in the world but it does get the job done. The biggest problem I'm having is repairs. These older machines are pretty well built but when they do break down the parts are quite expensive. I looked at moving up to a Haybuster grinder. Looked like a nice machine. I just couldn't justify spending that much money with poor milk prices. If I were looking for one I would go for something decent and newer. Spending more money doesn't sound like good business but the repairs add up fast. By the way I run my grinder with a 165 HP tractor. Have done it with a 125 HP tractor but it takes longer. Any more questions, just ask!
