Usually any chicks picked up at TSC love the farm life, know how to work, and are more than likely "keepers".

I see jail time in some of yall's future. All of the chicks that I've seen in TSC were still in high school, except for the old bat at the cash register.

Now pinz, just the other day there was a 16YO in there. :D

I saw some Easter chicks at the local Coop in Cleburne on Saturday. I didn't think anyone still did that. I thought the animal rights people were having fits about it. I remember buying three of them when I was a senior in high school not thinking of what I was going to do with them. We lived in town at the time. My dad told me to find somewhere else for them to live, so I gave them to my best friend's little sister, who was about six at the time. I don't think her mother ever forgave me, as one of them actually grew up and was a flogging rooster that would chase you all around the yard. I guess he never got over the humiliation of being green.
