I have reached the point where a scale would be great to have on the farm. As of now I am loading my animals and driving over to a feed lot 18 miles away. If they aren't halter broke I weigh the truck and trailer full, go home, unload, then drive back over and weigh empty. If they are halter broke I have to tie them to the scale post and run into the scale house to read the board before they jump off the scale. Too much trouble! What do you guys have or have used for a scale that you like, and is somewhat reasonable in price. And is there a web site for them. Thanks!!!

I used to work for a guy that had a Paul scale that would weigh one head at a time and a larger one that would hold up to 10 or so depending on size. They worked well and could be moved if you wanted to. They make several different sizes and have choices on options. http://www.paulscales.com I think will get you some information.

Thanks dd, bought one this morning!!! Great deal on used units!!!!!!!!!!!
