Triple Twins...

My uncle has a herd of about 50 brood cows. He has had three sets of twins already this year. I have never thought twins to be that common. Any thoughts? Is there a connection or just coincedence? Thanks and good day to all.

Twins while not rare are not all that common. But last year in this area almost everyone had art least one set of twins, some several sets. We figured last year was "Just one of those years". This year I have yet to hear of anyone having twins at all, and most calving is already finished.
